CCDGAD Aerial Boundaries - Guitar tuning, chords & scales
This is the tuning for Michael Hedges' Aerial Boundaries, the title track off the album, it's like DADGAD, except if in you're in DADGAD the low D tunes down to a low C, and the A on the 5th string tunes up all the way to a C! Be careful tuning it up to a C, usually, 3 frets up is the absolute highest I would tune a string up to myself. You may want to loosen the string up a bit first by tuning it down maybe to about A flat, gently pulling on the string to loosen it, and then attempt to tune it up to middle C, because if you try to tune it from A without doing that you could possibly break your string.
